These photos are from pre-wedding day shoot shot in October. I like to take Bride and Groom shots BEFORE the actual wedding day, if at all possible.
Here are the reasons why:
1. Better Lighting.
I am able to take photos at the time of day of my choosing, not at the time when the light is the most unflattering, which is usually when weddings take place. I do understand why people schedule weddings mid-day(ish). They have a lot to fit into that one day and so good lighting is not exactly on the top of their list of "must haves." But, by doing a pre-wedding shoot, we can do it when the light is beautiful, and therefore making the couples photos even more beautiful.
2. More quality time.
The couple isn't in a rush. Simply put, the day of the wedding is CRAZY. Couples are running late, at least every, single, couple I have ever shot. And, the rushed feelings tend to show in their photos. By doing the majority of the posed couple shots before the actual wedding, the couple is more relaxed. And, since the photos are usually the only thing going on that day, they are more able to have fun with it and actually enjoy the experience.
3. Prints to display.
When couples do the photos before the wedding day they are able to get prints of themselves in their wedding attire to display at the wedding and/or reception. Photos can also be used in wedding slide shows, sign in books, etc. Guests love seeing the photos!
I was happy that Tammie and Jason were willing and able to do a pre-wedding shoot! Their photos turned out fabulous! Congrats, again, you two!
Check back soon! My next post will be of their wedding day and luncheon.
